The Challenge

Accounts receivable automation is a complex, technical product. For most companies, that means a corporate explainer video: dense, dry, and forgettable. Abivo needed something different. They needed a commercial that could cut through the noise, make their AI collections agent Kate feel approachable, and clearly communicate what she does without losing the audience in the first 30 seconds.

Our Approach

We chose to lead with character rather than data, using relatable office scenarios and natural dialogue to make Kate feel like an authentic colleague rather than a software product. By filming in a real environment with professional actors, we avoided the sterile feel of a traditional demo to create a story viewers could see themselves in. Subtle motion graphics support this narrative, stepping in at key moments to explain complex features like payment plans and cash flow without breaking the film’s emotional connection.
